THE TRUSTEES

Ulrika Joshua

Founder & Trustee

When the trust started at the end of 2006, none of us could of imagined that today, we would be assisting so many children.

It would not have been possible, if it were not for the continued support from our sponsors and patrons. For this we sincerely thank you.

Over the past few years, we have seen these children blossom and grow. When a smile spreads a message of hope and gratitude. These children, have exceeded our expectations and work very hard to show us that our support is not in vain.

We pray that we can continue with this project and help many more children, who find themselves in a situation, for which they have no control of.

So once again, thank you to the sponsors, patrons, teachers, principals, the parents, our friends and families who help us, help them.

God bless you all.

Christine van Aswegen

Trustee

As the administrator and trustee of Assist a Learner Trust, I have done nothing as rewarding as this, just to see the smiles and the gratitude not only from the learners and their parents but, from the educators as well, is overwhelming.

Thank you to everybody who is on board, look forward to welcoming many more.

Rev. Dr. Michael Twum-Darko

Trustee

In my view, Assist a Learner Trust seeks to provide hope where there is no hope for children who by God’s grace have talent that ought to be nurtured through schooling but due to socio-economic challenges are marginalised. It is also an attempt by the trustees and partners to develop and expand the philanthropist spirit in the South African society.
